Guest Lecture Programme on Curriculum Development and inauguration ceremony of Departmental magazine

On March 20, 2025, the Department of Education, Government Model College Borkhola, organized a Guest Lecture Programme on Curriculum Development and inauguration ceremony of Departmental magazines. The event commenced at 1 PM, anchored by Dr. Rupashree Paul, Head of the Education Department, Government Model College Borkhola.
The chief guest, Prof. Sima Pal was felicitated with uttoriyo by the Principal Dr. Shahabuddin Ahmed. Dikhya Dey, Assistant Professor of Department of Education, Government Model College Borkhola felicitated the Principal of the college with uttoriiyo. It was followed by welcome speech delivered by Dr. Rupashree Paul, Head of the Department of Education. After that the first published departmental magazine, “Srijoni,” was inaugurated by the dignitary members present on the dias. Principal Dr. Shahabuddin Ahmed highlighted the importance of the day and congratulate the Department for such kind of achievements. Academic Coordinator of the college Dr. Baharul Alom Laskar pointed out the vision of the programme. IQAC Coordinator Dr. Mofidur Rahman highlighted the basic features and developmental activities of the college. Resource person Prof. Sima Pal, Head of the Department of Education, Assam University, Silchar delivered an enlightening lecture on Curriculum Development, elucidating its importance, planning, and pedagogy.
Following the lecture, the prize distribution ceremony of the annual cultural programme, which was held in 18th January 2025, took place.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dikhya Dey. The wall magazine of the Education Department, Government Model College Borkhola, was inaugurated by the chief guest and the Principal of the college.
