Department of Sociology
The Department of Sociology begins its journey with the introduction of pass course in the year 2020, which aims to engender analytical and critical thinking among its students. The entire syllabus for the Bachelor Degree Program is designed in such a way which focuses on understanding the complexities of social life through the application of sociological theories and methods. The Department shall organize field visit, seminar talks and interactive sessions along with the screening of movies and documentaries of contemporary issues to bridge the gap between theory and practice. By providing such knowledge and skills, the department is dedicated to create bright future and all-round development of the students.
